Miss Gilbertson hosted an Hour of Code after school program for grades 3-6 on Monday. Students created up to 30 lines of code to make their Minecraft character move, destroy blocks, build walls, plant crops, and cross over lava.

The football players are headed to the 'ship this morning!!! We are sending them off with the help of our fire departments and the McHenry County Sheriff's Office! Come on out and wave them on if you can! The bus will leave Anamoose around 7:20, head down Main Street, and will head to Drake. The bus will then leave the Drake school around 7:35. A huge shout out to our firemen and Officer Welstad as they help send our boys off to an experience of a lifetime! Good Luck Aggies!! 🏈

Yesterday, our students attended the 2024 Celebration of Music at Minot State University, where talented musicians from various schools came together to perform in one band and choir. The Velva, Garrison, and Drake/Anamoose Schools will NOT be in session on Friday, November 15 due to the game. A make-up date will be decided upon later. Seven teams competed today with the top two advancing to state. We headed to Minot at 6:30am with costumes in tow and one heck of a set. We came home with Kali receiving an honorable mention actor award, Kara receiving a superior actor award, and 2nd place! We load up again for state in Jamestown on November 25!
