Dr. Seuss week at our school was an absolute blast! The students had a fantastic time engaging in a variety of activities, including estimation games, school-wide Bingo, Emoji Dr. Seuss book titles, and festive lunches, just to name a few. A special highlight was the participation of the high school students, contributing to the overall excitement and camaraderie!📚🦊🧦

The Region 2 HS Academic Challenge was held this morning in Bottineau with the top 3 teams advancing to the lightning round. Rachel Held, Zack Volson, Kyle Volson, Alex Lakoduk, Zakary Berger, and Evelyn Isaak took 4th. So close!! We are now off to drown their sorrows in ice cream and celebrate, because 4th place out of 9 teams is still pretty darn awesome! Great Job! 🤍🖤🤍🖤

The second graders had a blast yesterday at Gooseneck in Harvey! They toured the store, checked out machinery, and asked tons of questions. They even got to munch on popcorn while watching a farm safety video. The pedal tractor races were a hit! Landon and Jacie were the champs; they each received a toy combine set as their prize. Each student was sent home with a lunchbox full of goodies.

This school year, youth vaping is as big an issue as ever, especially given growing mental health challenges among youth. At the end of this presentation, participants will be able to: · Understand and recognize tobacco industry tactics targeting youth · Explain the dangers of nicotine e-cigarettes/vapes, non-nicotine vapes, and other new tobacco products · Know the steps to protect youth and how to advise others to get involved · Take action in their own communities If you can't make it, don't worry! We will be offering this presentation throughout the rest of the year on May 12, September 10, and November 19. Make sure to register for our event on March 12 using the button below.
