The second grade class went on a field trip to the Lonetree Wildlife Management Area Headquarters last week Tuesday. Students were able to learn about animals that can be found in North Dakota. They knew a majority of the animals that were covered and had lots of stories for our presenter. They also had the opportunity to look at different parts of animals.

Congratulations to Evelyn and Alex! These two made it into the 2023 Northwest International Festival of Music!
Each student completed a recorded audition consisting of scales and solos. They will work with other students and guest conductors from around the state on November 3rd and 4th at MSU. A performance will be open to the community, the evening of November 4th at MSU's Ann Nicole Nelson Hall.
They are looking forward to this experience and opportunity, and we couldn't be prouder! 🖤🤍🖤

⭐️Fun In First⭐️First graders went fishing for words. If they read their “fish” correctly they put the fish in their bucket and wrote the word on the bucket— but if the word was read incorrectly they had to throw the fish back into the water!
