Congratulations to Evelyn and Alex! These two made it into the 2023 Northwest International Festival of Music!
Each student completed a recorded audition consisting of scales and solos. They will work with other students and guest conductors from around the state on November 3rd and 4th at MSU. A performance will be open to the community, the evening of November 4th at MSU's Ann Nicole Nelson Hall.
They are looking forward to this experience and opportunity, and we couldn't be prouder! 🖤🤍🖤

⭐️Fun In First⭐️First graders went fishing for words. If they read their “fish” correctly they put the fish in their bucket and wrote the word on the bucket— but if the word was read incorrectly they had to throw the fish back into the water!

🚨Some updates with the JH football schedule:
Thursday, Oct. 5th: ONLY 8th graders will be going to Stanley to play starting at 5pm (NO practice for 7th graders).
Monday, Oct. 9th: 7th graders will have a game at Nedrose, start time 4:30. 8th graders WILL have practice after school.
Thursday, Oct. 12th: There will be one game against Bishop Ryan starting at 5pm in Velva, a mix of 7th/8th graders will play and possibly play six quarters.

Junior High football update: Monday, Oct 2nd- JH football game in Velva against Ray/Powers Lake. There will be two games with 7th grade starting at 5pm and 8th grade game to follow!
The Homecoming activities continued to take place in both buildings again today. The football, volleyball, and cross country varsity players ventured over to the Elementary building to read and do a little art activity in each classroom. Then the "big kids" decided to take in a little of the K-2 recess time, possibly reminiscing over their time spent out on the playground as little kids. More fun to come tomorrow!
Homecoming week is here and the Elementary kids are full of Raider Spirit today. We wish the Lady Raiders Volleyball Team good luck tonight against Rugby!🏐

Who has heard of Gaga Ball?! The Elementary School is the new proud owner of their very own Gaga Ball Pit! Mr. Enget made this happen through the American Heart Association last spring. The students are very excited for this addition to the playground!
