HUGE Shout-Out!!! Mason Schuh was selected to be a part of the NDNBA Junior High All-State Festival! 🎶🎼🎵 Junior High All-State Festival is open to all seventh and eighth grade band students in the state of North Dakota. Mason’s flute audition included performing a B-flat, C and A-flat scale (without breaks), along with a chromatic scale and a short etude. He practiced and recorded his audition with Ms. Schmitt. Afterwards, a group of musicians listened to the auditions and made their selections based on what they heard, listening for technique, tone, musicality, and properly playing each piece listed above. He will participate and prepare to perform a concert with other junior high students whom were selected for the honor band, in Mandan, March 8th and 9th, concluding with a community performance in Mandan on March 9th. 🖤🤍Congratulations, Mason! 🤍🖤

The FBLA lock-in has been rescheduled to February 2.

Volunteer Opportunity. This will be a fun event on February 9th from 5:00-9:00. 🎶 Oh, what fun it is to ride at the Bottineau Winter Park! ❄️ The elementary school took in some tubing and had a blast! I think it's safe to say the teachers had just as much fun as the kids.☺️

The Battle of the Houses has commenced, and the results are in! Voting took place online and each school voted for their favorite gingerbread house in their respective schools. Here are your winners! At the elementary: Gingerbread House #2 in a landslide. At the high school: House #6 by a VERY slim margin People’s Choice (online): House #6- Was it the DAHS or the popcorn that was the deciding factor? 😂 The teachers all had a great time! However, now the competition has escalated with one side saying gingerbread kits made this battle too easy and the other stating graham crackers do not truly represent a gingerbread house. But overall, it doesn’t matter, because in the end, the winner just gets bragging rights….until next year…😂 Happy Holidays, Everyone!

A huge shout-out to SFC Andrew Tanata and to our very own Private McKenna Melaas, and a special thank you to our veterans and to all those currently serving. We honor you today and everyday! ❤️🇺🇸

Boys Stutsman County Jamboree

Team bonding, problem solving, creativity, some friendly banter, and a little holiday fun was on today's early-out agenda. Staff in both the elementary and high school worked to create a pristine gingerbread house. It was a great time spent conversing and forgetting about end of semester stresses. Now for a little friendly competition. Vote for your favorite!

Friday's double header against Center will be as follows: Varsity Girls BB @ 5:30 pm Varsity Boys BB @ 7:00 pm Games will be live streamed over the Drake Public School YouTube channel.

The Drake-Anamoose FFA competed at the District 3 Leadership Conference in Rugby yesterday. Through this conference, they competed in different Leadership Development Events. 11 members competed in various events. Their hard work and dedication over the last few months paid off! Way to go!
