Anamoose Drake Elementary is PUMPED UP for Heart Health!
We’ve kicked off our annual Jump Rope for Heart/Kids Heart Challenge! Watch for your student to be excited about having healthy hearts, the Duck Squad heart heroes, helping others, and more, all while having some heart pumping fun!
Packets are going home today with details on how to participate. One goal is to have at least 50% of our students sign up for the challenge this year so their family can learn Hands only CPR at home through Finn’s Mission! Miss Gilbertson hosted an Hour of Code after school program for grades 3-6 on Monday. Students created up to 30 lines of code to make their Minecraft character move, destroy blocks, build walls, plant crops, and cross over lava.
Sea Urchin or Fruit?! The Elementary kids had the opportunity to try a brand new fruit yesterday called Rambutan!
CNDC Girls Basketball Tournament Bracket.

Lady Raiders will kick off the tournament facing Rugby @ 3pm on Dec 5th.
Due to weather and road conditions we will moving from late start to virtual today. 7-12 school students should log on at 9:00. Elementary students had work packets sent home with them yesterday.
Wednesday, November 20 school will begin at 10:00 due to weather and road conditions. No breakfast will be served.
❄️The white stuff is coming! Please make sure students come to school prepared with the appropriate winter gear- hats, gloves, coats, snow pants, and boots. Thank you!
Don't forget to order your Raider gear! Orders are due this Wednesday, November 20 and will be done in plenty of time for Christmas (hint, hint).

A huge thank you to the Anamoose Area Community Foundation for the generous grant that helped us get a brand new volleyball net for the Elementary playground! 🏐✨ The kids are so excited to play, and it's been a fantastic addition to our outdoor space. We’re incredibly grateful for the support from this amazing community. Thank you for helping us make our playground even more fun and active! 🙌

The football players are headed to the 'ship this morning!!! We are sending them off with the help of our fire departments and the McHenry County Sheriff's Office! Come on out and wave them on if you can! The bus will leave Anamoose around 7:20, head down Main Street, and will head to Drake. The bus will then leave the Drake school around 7:35. A huge shout out to our firemen and Officer Welstad as they help send our boys off to an experience of a lifetime! Good Luck Aggies!! 🏈
Yesterday, our students attended the 2024 Celebration of Music at Minot State University, where talented musicians from various schools came together to perform in one band and choir. They practiced all day and delivered a fantastic concert in the evening. Great job, young musicians!

The FBLA Middle School Market Day was a success! Thank you to the elementary teachers and staff for allowing us to sell to you and your students.
🏈 Tickets! A limited number of tickets for the Dakota Bowl are available at the Drake Anamoose High School. They must be purchased and picked up by NOON on Thursday, November 14!
Tickets can also be purchased at the Fargodome the day of the game for the same price as presale. All tickets are general admission.
