Jade and Mason had the privilege of attending this year’s Woodwind Day, organized by the NDSU Challey School of Music. The event was a productive musical experience, as they had the opportunity to rehearse with the NDSU Wind Symphony, participate in a music clinic, and attend master classes with esteemed NDSU faculty and guest woodwind artists. What a memorable, fulfilling experience!

On Tuesday, September 30th, the Law and Justice class attended a court simulation in Rugby, along with students from Rugby and Harvey. Our students watched as witnesses were questioned as to the credibility of witness statements and their experiences. The schools were rotated as jurors during the questioning phase of the witnesses. Evelyn Isaak had the added opportunity of being the only student in attendance to act as an attorney, questioning one of the witnesses. Overall, it was a valuable teaching experience and created great discussions. A huge shout out to Special Agent Craig Zachmeier for providing our students with this amazing opportunity!

This afternoon in the Elementary building, we had our first Castle Time of the 2025-2026 school year; we’re so excited to bring this back again this school year! Each Castle designed a banner that showcased their Castle name, then proudly ran through it to the song RESPECT! 🎶🙌
Before the fun, we spent time talking about what it means to be a respectful person—at school, at home, and in our community. What an awesome way to kick off our Castle Time and remind ourselves that respect matters! 💜🏰
