On Monday, our 5th graders baked apple pie with Deb, filling the kitchen with amazing smells! After rolling dough and mixing the perfect filling, they shared their pies with parents at conferences. Huge thanks to Deb—these kids are basically pie experts now!

Just a friendly reminder: Parent-teacher conferences are tomorrow from 2–8 PM. Shuttle buses will depart at 1:30, with rural routes around 1:45. Elementary students should have brought home the sheet below last week with their assigned time slot.

Tomorrow is National Day of Unplugging. It's a day to unplug, relax, be active, go outdoors, talk with friends, and connect through socialization rather than social media. With no school tomorrow- Today, students in the SADD organization attended a presentation at Dakota College at Bottineau. Hannah Hoffert presented on the importance of “unplugging” and its impact on mental health. Afterwards, the students enjoyed some unplugging fun at Bottineau Winter Park!! It was perfect weather for a great time spent laughing and creating memories!

Attention Families! The Elementary students will go home with registration information today for our Book Blast! Students who send 10 invitations to family and friends win prizes and are automatically entered into a drawing for treasure chests filled with prizes! Most importantly, students who raise $125 over the next two weeks will receive 10 new books! But the best part? Every single student will go home with at minimum 1 new book. However, we can increase that amount! By using this link: https://tinyurl.com/AnamooseDES58710CommLink you can donate to a community pool, which helps all students, regardless of financial contribution or registration, get even more books! We love this program because it puts new, age - appropriate books into the hands of every student and 100% of all contributions go towards new books and classroom supplies. If a class gets at least 60% participation, that teacher gets a $100 shopping spree, if a class gets 100% participation their teacher receives a $200 shopping spree from Books are Fun! If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Bromley or your child's teacher.
